Way of Forgiveness: Exorcism of Licinious is book number one in the Sci-Fi Short Book Series based on the Dreamscape Warriors Universe. Each book gives readers a chance to explore the backstories of the various characters who appear in Award-Winning author Kurt Springs’ Science Fiction Novels. This Short Book Series which ties into the Dreamscape Warriors Novels is available in both eBook and Paperback editions. Sci-Fi Short Book Number 1 launched in 2026. It highlights the protagonist, Liam O’Connor, who learns about forgiveness when he confronts the ghost of Licinious, his nemesis, who murdered his parents and foster parents. Liam’s journey in this story gives the background for the man he is after Price of Vengeance: Chitin Invasion (the first novel) and leads into the man he becomes in Legacy of Valor: Battle of Treespo (the second novel).
In the short book number 2, Evolution of Leadership: Scamp to Military Leader, Deirdre (one of Liam’s triplet daughters) goes from being a scamp who always leads her siblings to mischief into a military leader. As she goes through her advanced trooper training, Deirdre learns to make responsible decisions when others’ lives are on the line. The focus of this story ties into the second and third novels; Legacy of Valor: Battle of Treespo and Promise of Mercy: Return to Earth which brackets this book.
Both these Short Books include a complete Reference Guide to the Dreamscape Warriors Universe. This special guide includes character descriptions, places such as planets and moons, and the languages spoken on different worlds. Sci-Fi Tech, as well as the weapons used by various warring factions, are also described.
