Fast Read, looking forward to the 2nd Book!
This story is an “in-between” tale in the Dreamscape Warriors Saga. It is a stand-alone tale that actually made me curious to read the DWS Novels. A second book is available in this Sci-Fi Short Book Series and I am looking forward to reading it. - Patt O'Neil
A well-crafted narrative and personable characters made Kurt Springs, Way of Forgiveness a delightful read and a five-star winner. Author Springs' breathtaking story of treachery and reprisal, acquittal, and redemption was engaging yet easy to follow. The way Kurt Springs developed his characters in the Way of Forgiveness kept me turning pages until the last page. Truly a 5-Star read. - Ron Hanlon
A New Sci-Fi Reader Finds and Loves the Deeper Meaning
The Way of Forgiveness is my first read of one of Kurt Springs' MANY books. I respect him as a fellow author and admire his determination to bring his work to fans who love his stories and identify with his characters.
I have no history of reading Sci-Fi books, so I was curious to see how I would connect with this story. Kurt Springs did a wonderful job of keeping the characters personable and the storyline grounded enough for me to follow, even as I tried to comprehend the Dreamscape and the "sci-fi-ing-out-there" development of the adventurous and motivated journeys Liam experiences when not in the "waking world."
The lessons of mastering one's inner power and controling one's mind, expecially when moving through fear and forgiveness, made this short book a delightful read. I found myself connecting with the deeper message beneath the adventure. That's what great writers help the reader do.
I have purchased other books by Kurt Springs and look forward to continuing to explore his work and watching the development of characters, like the triplets, but especially Liam's growing inner strength.
Congratulations on being a multiple, Bestselling Author, Kurt Springs, and happy NOW! - PJ Zito
If you love sci-fi, love reading books where you see the author’s wonderful imagination in your own mind’s eye, and love to see the characters grow emotionally and spiritually then grab a copy of the book!!! This is the first book that I’ve read of this series, and I can’t wait to start from the beginning! - Julie Marcum
Like the other works in Kurt Springs' series of short books, Way of Forgiveness offers a message reaching well beyond science fiction adventure. Can one forgive an enemy who committed an atrocity upon loved ones? Can one forgive oneself for committing an act of barbarous vengeance? Kurt explores the essential aspect of admission of guilt and failure before any forgiveness can be sought or granted. It is a message we should listen to in these divided and troubling times. - Dave R. Schoorens
An Entertaining Story
I rarely read Science Fiction books and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed reading this book.
A school yard brawl between Liam and Jochan causes bad blood between their families and 11 years later Jochan’s father, Licinious, murders Liam’s parents and his foster parents. Liam reacts by viciously killing Licinious. Resulting in Licinious’s spirit being trapped and Liam’s life being poisoned. The story is about how Liam has to overcome his anger and forgive Licinious in order for him to return to the Creator and for Liam to free himself.
Strong characters and a good plot make this an interesting read. - PJ
Well Written with Appealing Characters
Evolution of Leadership: Scamp to Military Leader by Kurt Springs is well written with appealing characters. I enjoyed watching Deirdre grow from a precocious child to a competent woman with strategic leadership skills. Deirdre is one of triplet sisters, which adds a fun element. The plot, pacing, and dangers are excellent. The world-building is also strong. Five Stars! - JSReads
Fantastic Science-Fiction/Fantasy Tale!
Dreamscape Warriors: Evolution of Leadership, centers around a strong, intelligent female lead. Deirdre, one of Liam and Celinia's triplet daughters, a mischievous imp as a child, finds herself suddenly in charge of a group of her fellow "Shock Trooper" trainees. After crash landing in a jungle on the planet "Alba Nua," she assumes leadership and responsibility of her group as they face dangers and the dreaded predators, the Dubhar-Chu. Displaying both intuitive and resourceful traits, she... (find out what happens by purchasing a copy of the book in Kindle or Paperback.) A 5-Star recommendation for everyone who loves science-fiction and fantasy! Waiting for the next book in the series! - Love2read
Real Sci-Fi Suspense presented in a Way that Felt Safe
The second short book in Kurt Springs' Dreamscape Warriors Series, Evolution of Leadership: Scamp to Military Leader, was an easy, fast read about how Deirdre O'Connor (one of Colonel O'Connor’s triplet daughters) rises to action after their military trooper training event goes array when they crashed after a micrometeor hit the ship. There were several moments of suspense that moved Dee to take action, using her natural instincts and skills necessary to keep everyone in her Section Gamma team safe.
The suspense was real, but it felt "safe" for me as a reader, which makes this short book ideal for those who want the Sci-Fi world of adventure. I enjoyed the read and recommend this series for its action, adventure & dreamscape, and paranormal journey.
Great writing by Professor Kurt Springs, and well deserving of a 5-Star Review.
I respect this author and am amazed by his authorpreneur expertise.
Thank you for expanding my NOW! - PJ Zito
A Short Novel offering a Lesson beyond the Science Fiction Story
A natural leader. Anyone who has served in the military knows the most fundamental quality of an effective force is leadership. I remember meeting fellow officers who within minutes you just knew would rise through the ranks because of their command of the situation. By the way they carried themselves, people looked to them as a leader.
Without leadership, all the weapons and tactics are of little use. In Evolution of Leadership, Kurt Springs successfully explores that quality using a long-standing character in his sci-fi series. This short book offers an easy to read, exciting lesson in leadership theory. In a crisis, will someone emerge as a leader? Who do the others look to? - Dave R. Schoorens
Love the family connection Kurt has in this series. This book is all about the three daughters and their strengths and challenges. I love the way he adds magical sci-fi elements to the characters and story. I don’t usually read sci-fi, but I find his books to be very engaging right away! - Julie Marcum
Another well written and outstanding read from author Kurt Springs. I was totally engrossed in the adventure from the beginning to the end! I do not want to spoil it for you. So, get your copy today and find out who Private Deirdre O’Connor is and what she did. -
